Welcome to the R. N. Kapoor Jewellers mobile application (the "App"), owned and operated by R. N. Kapoor Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App, including our e-commerce, inquiry, and Gold Saving Plan (Kitty) services. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and registered account holders of the App. R. N. Kapoor Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

Our App and services, particularly the Gold Saving Plan, are strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly permit account creation by, or provide services to, individuals under 18.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must register an account by providing accurate information, including your name, email address, mobile number, gender, and date of birth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may optionally upload a profile picture and save shipping/billing addresses for your convenience.

4. Products, Pricing & Inquiries

All jewellery products displayed on the App are subject to availability, and images or descriptions may vary slightly from the actual product. Many of our items are listed on a "Price on Request" basis. By submitting an inquiry, you consent to being contacted by our store team via WhatsApp or phone to discuss pricing and availability. We reserve the right to correct product or pricing errors at any time without notice.

5. Gold Saving Plan ("Kitty")

• Enrollment in a Gold Saving Plan requires you to make regular installment payments as per the plan schedule you select.
• You may designate a nominee, including their name, phone number, and relationship to you, for the purpose of the plan.
• You will receive push notifications regarding payment confirmations, overdue installments, and plan maturity.
• Accounts with an active Gold Saving Plan cannot be deleted until the plan is closed or settled, in order to protect your accumulated funds. Please contact our support team to close or settle an active plan.
• We are required by law to retain transaction and invoice records of completed or cancelled plans for regulatory and tax compliance purposes, even after account deletion.

6. Orders & Payments

• All orders and plan installments are subject to acceptance and successful payment processing.
• Payments are processed securely through our third-party, RBI-compliant payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not collect or store your full card numbers, UPI PINs, or bank account details on our servers; we retain only transaction references and installment histories.
• Orders or installments may be delayed or cancelled if payment is not successfully processed.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We aim to dispatch confirmed orders and deliver physical jewellery purchased through the App promptly. Delivery timelines may vary based on your location and product availability. R. N. Kapoor Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for delays caused by courier partners or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Returns & Exchanges

Returns or exchanges are offered for eligible products in accordance with our store return policy. Items must be unused, in original condition, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Custom-made or engraved items may not be eligible for return unless found defective.

9. Device Permissions

The App may request access to your microphone (for the Voice Search feature only, with audio processed temporarily and not recorded or stored) and your device's storage or photo library (for uploading a profile picture, or downloading PDF sizing guides and invoices). These permissions are only accessed with your explicit consent and can be managed through your device settings.

10. Communications

By using the App, you consent to receive transactional push notifications (such as payment confirmations, overdue alerts, and plan maturity updates) as well as promotional offers and WhatsApp communications from our store team. You may manage notification preferences through your device or app settings, subject to any mandatory transactional alerts required for plan administration.

11. Intellectual Property

All content available through the App, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and images, is the intellectual property of R. N. Kapoor Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, or reproduction of this content is strictly prohibited.

12. User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse the App or engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity, including providing false information during registration or plan enrollment. Any breach of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your access to the App and its services.

13. Data Security & Limitation of Liability

We implement industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS/SSL encryption, to protect your information, and financial transactions are processed by RBI-compliant gateways. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. To the fullest extent permitted by law, R. N. Kapoor Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or its services.

14. Account Deletion

You may request permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time via Profile > Delete Account in the App, subject to the conditions outlined in Section 5 regarding active Gold Saving Plans and our regulatory record-retention obligations.

15. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi.
