To provide you with our e-commerce, inquiry, and Gold Saving Plan (Kitty) services, we collect the following types of information:
A. Personal Information Provided by You
- Account Data: Name, email address, mobile number, gender, and date of birth when you register.
- Profile Image: You may choose to upload a profile picture from your device.
- Address Data: Shipping and billing addresses for store records and deliveries.
- Nominee Data: Name, phone number, and relationship details of your designated nominee for the Gold Saving Plan.
- Communications: Any information you provide when using our "Contact Us" form or reaching out via WhatsApp.
B. Financial Information
When you enroll in or pay installments for a Gold Saving Plan, your payments are processed securely via our third-party payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not collect or store your full credit card numbers, UPI PINs, or bank account details on our servers. We only store transaction references and installment histories.
C. Device and Usage Data
- Device Information: We collect push notification tokens (FCM tokens) to send you important updates.
- App Activity: General usage data to help us improve app performance.
2. Device Permissions
To enable specific features, the App requests access to certain device capabilities. We only access these with your explicit permission:
- Microphone: Required only if you use the Voice Search feature. Audio is processed temporarily for speech-to-text conversion and is not recorded or stored by us.
- Storage / Photos (System Picker): Required if you choose to upload a profile picture, or if you download PDF sizing guides and payment invoices to your device.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To create, manage, and secure your registered account.
- To manage your Gold Saving Plan (Kitty) enrollments, track maturity, and process monthly installments.
- To communicate with you regarding product pricing ("Price on Request") via WhatsApp.
- To send transactional push notifications (e.g., payment confirmations, overdue alerts, plan maturity) and promotional offers.
- To facilitate the delivery of physical jewellery purchased from our stores.
- To improve our App's user experience and fix crashes.
4. Third-Party Services
We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers strictly for operating our App:
- Firebase / Google Cloud: Used for crash reporting, and sending push notifications.
- Razorpay: Used for securely processing your financial transactions.
- WhatsApp: Used to facilitate direct communication between you and our store team.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures (including HTTPS/SSL encryption) to protect your personal information. Financial transactions are encrypted and processed by RBI-compliant payment gateways. While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the App and navigate to Profile > Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion prompt.
- Your account, personal details, addresses, and wishlist will be permanently removed.
Exceptions for Active Financial Plans
If you have an active Gold Saving Plan, you will not be able to delete your account immediately to prevent the loss of your funds. You must contact support to close or settle your active plan before the account can be deleted.
Note: We are legally required to retain transaction and invoice records of completed or cancelled financial plans for regulatory and tax compliance purposes.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App and services (particularly the Gold Saving Plan) are strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page or via an in-app notification.
